Gem Lodes

Gem lodes are special tiles that appear in random places much like a resource tile, except you can gather gems from them. They are a reward for KvK, but they are also occasionally part of a celebration.

Lode Quantities
The higher the lode level, the more gems that are available to be gathered from it.

How to Gather Gems
The basic answer is that you send troops and they gather them and you get the gems when they return, much like a regular resource tile. However, there are some important differences.

It takes more troops to carry one gem than it does to carry one of any other resources. Specifically, it takes 1,000 Army Capacity to carry a single gem.

Your usual gather talents, gear, and research will not help you. But there are
researchs specifically for speeding up harvesting gem lodes. Gem Harvesting I is at the bottom of the Economy Tree and Gem Harvesting II is in the Wonder Battles Tree.

However! Gear for Army Capacity and Travel Speed does work!

Spawn Schedule
Gem lodes appear every 6 hours. Let's call each appearance a "series". Each reward period contains 4 series. Inside each series, there are two or three "waves" of gem lodes for each gem lode level your Kingdom earned.

The times vary, but in general it's shorter at the beginning for the lower levels and longer at the end for the higher levels. They generally spawn for about the first 3 of that series' 6 hours.

    1. Army Capacity gear affects the quantity of troops you need, but it does not affect the speed you load.

Also, if you change your gear to a lower army capacity before your troops finish, you will not completely mine the gem lode. That is why sometimes you see gem lodes with 1 gem or some random number left. It is not necessarily because it was abandoned.

Garrison vs Reinforcing

What's the difference between sending a Garisson and sending reinforcements? Important to note: • Only people in your guild can send either. If you or your guildmate leave the guild, the troops will return home. • If you port or reshield, the troops will return home. • Sending troops to a guildmate will activate battle fury. • You cannot shield while your troops are in a guildmate's castle. On the surface, they might seem like the same thing: someone sends troops to a guildmate. But once they arrive, they do different things. Reinforcements Reinforcements go into the embassy. As you upgrade your embassy, you can hold more allies. For some reason unknown to me, you cannot see who is reinforcing you. Only that you have reinforcements. Reinforcements act like they're part of your troops now. Don't let the word deploy throw you off. That means you must have an embassy in order to send someone else reinforcenents. You cannot control allied troops ...

The "Best" Heroes

I mean it when I say that the primary thing to keep in mind is that all of the heroes have strengths and weakness. There is no universal "best" hero. It comes down to personal preference and building a good team with all the types and useful battle skills for what you're focused on. But I know that's not what you want. So here goes. This is just my personal opinion. Free Heroes 1. Rose Knight 2. Heroes with troop specific ATK & HP Battle Skills • Demon Slayer - Infantry • Snow Queen - Ranged • Child of Light - Cavalry 3. Trickster 4. Bombin' Goblin 5. Prima Donna Paid Heroes 1. Lore Weaver 2. Berserker 3. Songstress of the Sea 4. The Big Guy 5. Witch Doll Rose Knight Cavalry • STR (Strength) She is the most ideal free hero offered in the game right now. She has high HP, healing capabilities, and at Rank 7, she has an Army ATK boost. About T4s

You start with T1s. You go with the natural flow of the game and you can unlock T2s. You push a little harder and unlock T3s. You may think the next step is T4s, but I'm here to burst your bubble and tell you it's not. T3s will be your primary troop type for a very long time. T4s are extremely difficult, time consuming, and costly to unlock. It is the ultimate goal to achieve - not the next natural step in the game. Don't be fooled by how easy some people made it look. It is a challenge. It will cost many gems. You need to build one of each building type to lvl 25 in order to build Academy 25. This means you need to buy a Golden Hammer for each 25 building. You also need to buy all of the War Tomes, Steel Cuffs, and Soul Crystals to upgrade the Battle Hall, Prison, and Alter. Next is the research. You must research every item on the Economy page to lvl 10 except Gem Harvesting. You must also research the entire Military page to lvl 10. These are extremely time consumi...
